Ghost Girl Mystery
In 1995, Wem Town Hall in Shropshire, England, burned to the ground. Local resident and photographer Tony O'Rahilly was snapping photos of the fire when he captured this shot of what appears to be a small, partially transparent girl standing in the doorway. Is it a genuine image or a clever hoax?
Ghost in the Aisle?
This ghost cam photo was taken a few years ago, around Halloween, at approximately 2:00 am in the Willard Library, Evansville, Indiana. You'll see what look likes a small female standing in the aisle, in a knee-length skirt, with her hands clasped in front of her. You can also see what looks like two legs. It looks like she has white hair with pigtails and two large, dark eye sockets. At the time, I got the impression that 'she' was looking at the ghost cam and was aware that her photo would be taken. I'd also taken a few other shots at this time; it shows this image in the process of fading and apparently dematerializing, while nothing around the image changes.
Ghost Hand at Crescent Hotel
This picture was taken in March of 2002 at The Crescent Hotel located in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. We had previously been on the ghost tour three other times and nothing like this had ever happened. While on the tour near room 218 (an active room haunted by "Michael"), the closet next to the room opened up on its own, surprising everyone on the tour even the guide.
The closet had been locked earlier that evening, and when it opened up, no one was inside. We happened to be the closest to the door, about six feet away, and took this picture (with a digital jamcam camera) after the door had opened. We were surprised to see what looked like an arm and hand of supposedly "Michael" showing through the door in the picture. We are from Missouri and visit the hotel about 2-3 times a year, hoping to snap a picture of ghosts on film or catch them on video.
Crichton Castle Ghost
This picture was taken at the graveyard next to the Crichton Castle chapel in Scotland in May of 1995. The photographer was standing inside the cemetery, next to a wall and took a picture of the castle. He was visiting the grave of a dear aunt and his companion was wandering around the quaint cemetery asking this aunt if she was near and that this would be the perfect time to give her a sign. They had often talked about if one of them should go first they would indicate something to the one left behind. The photographer is a total skeptic and his companion was doing this silently.
When the roll of film was developed he was shocked and she was happily surprised. The negatives have been examined and nothing was amiss. The day was hazy with no cloud. The specks are dirt from my scanner. What do you think?
Ghost Boy
I'm a professional photographer and don't often get images that are out of place or screwed up. This image showed up in the summer of 2001 amidst some negatives I had shot for a pretty average job.
The strange thing is that although the house shown was my house at the time, the image had to be created long before I owned it. You see, I had the porch repaired and the door replaced before we moved in. The image had to have been created several years before I even owned the camera this came from. The strangest thing of all though, I have no idea who the child is.
